Yet another article touting a new era in online property sales, below.  Although, I agree that innovations will take place in how properties may be showcased (i.e. virtual tours further advanced), there are already virtual ways properties are being marketed.  For example, it's common to see 3-D tours, video walk-throughs, professional photography and sometimes even aerial drone footage in property listings.

Brief but interesting article linked below on BNN by Pattie Lovett-Reid regarding how the coronavirus is changing the way Canadians are buying and selling real estate.  

Some key points include:

- gone are most showings and open houses

- virtual tours are commonplace; in other words, digital showings and presentations of homes

- speculative buyers have virtually disappeared
